Who We Are
Organizations involved in the Colorado Outdoor Partnership represent the intersection of outdoor recreation and conservation interests related to land, water, and wildlife in Colorado. We ensure that the decisions we come to are collaborative and represent all members' interests to the best of our ability. Organizations represent the following sectors: outdoor recreation groups, conservation, sportsmen/women, anglers, environmental education, outdoor recreation industry partners, lands stewardship, agriculture and ranching, and government.

American Whitewater is the primary advocate for the preservation and protection of whitewater rivers throughout the United States and connects the interests of human-powered recreational river users with ecological and science-based data to achieve goals within our mission.

The mission of the Colorado Off-Highway Vehicle Coalition (COHVCO) is to represent, assist, educate, and empower OHV (this term always includes snowmobile and 4wds enthusiasts) recreationists in the protection and promotion of off-highway motorized recreation throughout Colorado.
Colorado Outdoor Industry Office
Our mission at the Colorado Outdoor Recreation Industry Office is to inspire industries and communities to thrive in Colorado’s great outdoors. OREC is one of only seven offices in the nation that provides a central point of contact, advocacy and resources at the state level for the diverse constituents, businesses and communities that rely on the continued health of the outdoor recreation industry.
Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association
The Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association, Inc. (COPMOBA) is a member-supported, nonprofit organization of volunteer mountain bikers dedicated to advocating for, building, and maintaining sustainable singletrack mountain bike trails on the Colorado Plateau in Western Colorado.

The Colorado Department of Natural Resources was created with a mission to develop, preserve and enhance the state's natural resources for the benefit and enjoyment of current and future citizens and visitors.
Friends of Colorado State Parks
The Friends of Colorado State Parks is a statewide coordinating organization supporting and sustaining Friends groups at individual State Parks, and building a network of citizens who work to protect and care for the places in which they play, recreate, and adventure.
Great Outdoors Colorado
GOCO invests a portion of Colorado Lottery proceeds to help preserve and enhance the state's parks, trails, wildlife, rivers and open spaces. Our independent board awards competitive grants to local governments and land trusts, and makes investments through Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Created by voters in 1992, GOCO has committed more than $1.1 billion in lottery proceeds to more than 5,000 projects in all 64 counties without any tax dollar support.
International Mountain Bicycling Association
The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) is the worldwide leader in mountain bike advocacy, and the only organization in the United States focused entirely on trails, access, education and experiences for all types of mountain bikers in all parts of the country. IMBA firmly believes that great places for mountain biking make people, communities and landscapes better, and wants to change the world by getting more people on mountain bikes more often in more places.
Larimer County Department of Natural Resources
Natural Resources manages Larimer County's great outdoor places, including open spaces and magnificent water-based recreation areas, and fosters responsible land stewardship through weed management and healthy forest practices.

Trails Preservation Alliance
The primary purpose and focus of the Trails Preservation Alliance is to preserve motorized, single-track trail riding. The TPA supports and works to preserve all forms of OHV recreation including ATV’s, UTV’s, 4WD’s, snowmobiles, etc. However, the TPA’s foremost commitment is to preserve motorized single-track trail riding.
US Forest Service
We are a multi-faceted agency that manages and protects 154 national forests and 20 grasslands in 43 states and Puerto Rico. The agency’s mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the nation’s forests and grasslands to meet the needs of present and future generations.
